if you want to hide the shared folder from the network users, Right click the folder and click sharing and security and give a shared name of the folder plus $ sign e.g. ebooks$. In this way network user will not be able to see the shared folder on the network. For you to see the hidden folder, map the drive and type in the path including the $ sign in the folder box....
